San Diego Craft Beer Global Acknowledgement – Coronado Brewing Company
on April 15, 2014
Congratulations to Coronado Brewing Company – representing #SDBeer as CHAMPIONS at the World Beer Cup 2014.
A Little History:
Coronado Brewing Company has been “killing it since ’96”. Founded in 1996 by Ron & Rick Chapman, the brothers set out to create higher quality beer in their hometown ‘island’ of Coronado, California. They were one of the original breweries in San Diego County, and delivered their first keg to the historic Hotel Del Coronado. In 2012, Coronado Brewing Company opened their 2nd Location over by San Diego’s Linda Vista / Tecolote Canyon neighborhoods. Located on Knoxville Street, their new 22,000 sqft warehouse & 30-barrel stainless system can easily be accessed off the I-5 Sea World Drive Exit.
At their Knoxville location, they regularly have their core beers on tap plus an additional 10-15 specialty beers. Their tasting room was designed adjacent to their massive new brewing system & bottling line, so you can see all the brewers in action.
