Cinnamon And Peppermint Cookie Recipe

Who does not love having cookies? Well, when it comes to making cookies, the taste and presentation matter the most. Anyway, there are different types of cookie recipes available online. We will not talk about all of them. Here, we will be talking about the Cinnamon and Peppermint Cookie recipe. During the holiday season, it will really add a new dimension. 


The ingredients for making cinnamon and peppermint are as follows:

  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • ¾ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tbsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter. It must be kept at room temperature.
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 7 oz. of melted white chocolate
  • 2 crushed candy canes


The process of making Cinnamon and Peppermint cookies is very simple. You just need to follow the steps added below:

  • Take a medium-sized bowl and then, you will have to add cinnamon powder, salt, baking powder, and flour together. After mixing all these things well, you will have to set them aside.
  • Now, turn on the mixer and then, you will have to add cream, sugar, butter, and egg. Mix them very well. You need to mix it until you are getting a thick and creamy texture. 
  • Now, this step is the most important. You will have to add the flour mixture that you have set aside to the butter mixture very slowly. Mix all the ingredients very well. 
  • After mixing it, you will have to put the mixture on the clean cooking countertop. Now, divide it and make two balls. Wrap the balls in plastic and then, keep them aside for 2 hours. For better results, you can keep them overnight.
  • Well, after this, you will have to come to the main stage. You need to turn the oven on. You will have to preheat this oven to 350 F. 
  • Now, take out those balls from the plastic wrappers and roll them until you are getting ¼ inch of thickness. After this, you need a cookie-cutter. You need to cut them into cookie shapes using the cutter. Do the same thing with the second ball.
  • Place them on the baking sheet and after this; bake them for at least 10 minutes. If you see the edge, you will notice golden brown colour. Now, you need to cool them completely.
  • Now, you can brush it with white chocolate and your cookies will be ready.
